David Beckham could not prevent Paris St Germain crashing out of the Coupe de France quarter-finals on penalties at the hands of Evian.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva missed PSG's first two penalties as they
lost the shootout 4-1 after the match finished 1-1.
Javier Pastore put the capital club in front after eight minutes, but Saber
Khelifa levelled a minute before half-time.
PSG finished the match with 10 men, with Thiago Motta sent off in the 118th
Beckham started the game, but was substituted midway through the second half.
Elsewhere, Cheick Diabate scored two late goals as Bordeaux won 3-2 at Lens.
An 11th-minute own goal from visiting goalkeeper Cedric Carasso put Lens in
front, but Gregory Sertic levelled in the 59th minute.
Diabate won it for Bordeaux with strikes in the 81st and 85th minutes before
Zakarya Bergdich scored a second at the death for Lens.
