Bordeaux's Florian Marange says his side's sights are firmly fixed on a UEFA Champions League berth.
Les Girondins kept their hopes of a top three finish alive with a 3-0 win over Nancy on Wednesday.
The result - courtesy of two goals from Moroccan international Marouane Chamakh (pictured) and one from Argentinian Fernando Cavenaghi - keeps them only one point behind Lens as the season reaches its climax.
"We really wanted to show the fans that our last 0-0 draw with PSG was an accident," the left-back told Foot+.
"We did it and won the three points and played a super match.
"The Champions League spot isn't acquired yet, we still have to win at St Etienne on Sunday."
Coach Ricardo added that Sunday's clash at Stade Geoffrey-Guichard is crucial to his side's Champions League ambitions.
"Our fate is in our own hands. We have to defeat St Etienne on Sunday, we can't afford any mistakes now."
