Lens late-show stuns Marseille

LENS shattered Marseille's 100 percent start to the season after a late winner handed them a 2-1 home success over Alain Perrin's men.

Olivier Thomert was the hero for Lens, netting in injury-time to hand the hosts their first win of the new season.

Things had started promisingly for Marseille, and Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba edged them ahead with his first goal since a summer transfer from Guingamp after just 11 minutes.

However, Lens pulled level when reported Spurs target Papa Bouba Diop (pictured) got on the scoresheet just nine minutes later.

The game seemed to be heading for a draw but, in an explosive finale, Thomert swooped for a dramatic winner, while there was still time for team-mate Seydou Keita to see red for two bookable offences.
