An unknown Premiership club are chasing Lyon defender Lamine Diatta.The Senegal international is looking to leave the French champions before the close of the transfer window due to concerns about a first-team spot.
Diatta joined Lyon from Rennes last summer but only played in half of the club's games as they retained their Ligue 1 title.
He has yet to make an appearance this season and Diatta is growing increasingly frustrated at his dearth of football.
The 30-year-old is now hoping Lyon will let him leave within the next fortnight and the full back is being tracked by an English side.
Lyon are only likely to sell Diatta if they have a replacement lined up as they want to ensure they have adequate cover for Anthony Reveillere.
