Lucas Moura has described David Beckham as an 'icon' and is convinced he will make a big impact at Paris St Germain.
Beckham has signed a short-term deal with the Ligue 1 club after deciding to leave Los Angeles Galaxy when his contract expired late last year.
Brazilian forward Moura is another big name to have recently made the move to the French capital, and he is excited about the prospect of playing alongside Beckham.
"Beckham is a football icon, a star, both on and off the pitch," the 20-year-old told Globo Esporte.
"Our team will gain a lot, they will gain visibility. His quality will add a lot. It will be an honor to play alongside him."
Moura is currently in London preparing for Brazil's friendly against England on Wednesday, and he is looking forward to playing under new boss Luiz Felipe Scolari.
He said: "Everyone says good things about him. I have never worked with Scolari but I see he is a competent guy, who has won titles with all his clubs.
"I'm anxious to show him what I can do and make him happy to stay with the national team."
