Latics midfielder reveals PSG dream

Wigan winger Olivier Kapo has admitted his interest in securing a switch back to Ligue 1. The 28-year-old has fallen out of favour at the JJB Stadium and is resigned to the fact that his future lies elsewhere. The former France international is understood to be attracting interest from Bordeaux, while Spanish outfit Espanyol are also thought to be keen. Kapo, though, has revealed that he would favour a move to the French top-flight, with Paris St Germain his preferred destination. "I will not close the door on Auxerre, or a move back to France," he told Le 10 Sport. "A move to PSG has always been my dream."

Annoying

While Kapo admits to being intrigued by a switch to the French capital, PSG are currently a team in turmoil. Chairman Charles Villeneuve looks set to be sacked at the next board meeting and club captain Claude Makelele believes the whole situation is proving unsettling. "Of course it is annoying," said the former Real Madrid and Chelsea midfielder. "The most important thing is for the group to keep our solidarity. "I believe the officials will give an explanation to the employees and the players, though, so I have no worries."
