Glasgow City defeated Hibernian Ladies 2-1 to win their fourth consecutive Scottish Premier League Cup Final

Glasgow City lifted the Scottish Women's Premier League Cup for a fourth consecutive year after a 2-1 extra-time win over Hibs at Ainslie Park.

In a repeat of last year's final, which Glasgow won 4-0, Hibs led for much of the game thanks to a wonder goal from Heather Richards.

In the first half, Richards picked the ball up in her own half, beat one and then unleashed a beautifully-struck shot from 50 yards that sailed over the stranded goalkeeper and into the net.

Hibs seemed set to upset their rivals until the final 10 minutes, when Kerry Montgomery timed her run to head home a free-kick amid some poor marking.

The game went to the additional half-an-hour and it was a goalkeeping error that decided it - Susan Fairlie's shot squirmed into the far corner from a tight angle.
