Hearts have signed Czech Republic midfielder Rudolf Skacel.Skacel arrives at Tynecastle on a season-long loan from Marseille.
Skacel is well down the pecking order at Marseille and he spent last season on loan at at Panathinaikos.
The 25-year-old is George Burley's first signing since taking charge of the Edinburgh club and Burley was delighted to land the Czech ace.
"Rudolph is an outstanding player and it is no secret that we've had to beat of some stiff competition for his signature." Burley told the club's official website.
"I believe that he is excited by the ambition that this club has shown in its dealings with him, and I am sure he will do extremely well at Tynecastle in the forthcoming campaign."
