Russell Anderson, Barry Robson and Nicky Low have all agreed new one-year contracts with Aberdeen, the club have announced.
But Dons manager Derek McInnes also confirmed that Josh Magennis, Scott Vernon and Nicky Weaver will all be released this summer.
Centre-back Anderson returned to Pittodrie in 2012 and has made over 350 appearances for the club where he began his professional career in 1996.
Fellow veteran Robson, also 35, has cemented a regular place in midfield under McInnes since joining the club last year, while Low made 17 appearances in all competitions last season
McInnes told the club's website. "All three have made important contributions to the season just finished and I'm looking for them to play their part in the progression of the club next season."
Striker Vernon had hoped to extend his four-year stay with the Dons despite falling down the pecking order following the signing of Adam Rooney in January.
Vernon told the Daily Record: "I have to do the right thing. I love this club and want to stay, but there are things that need to be weighed up.
"It has been a frustrating season personally. It has been good for the club with major highs, the League Cup win being the main one.
"I would have liked to have played more."
But Vernon and Weaver have been deemed surplus to requirements by McInness, while Alan Tate will return to parent club Swansea after making eight appearances while on loan with the Scottish Premiership club.
McIness said. "I would like to thank all the above players for their contributions to the club and wish them all the very best in their future careers."
A club statement added: "The future of defender Shaleum Logan, whose contract at Brentford expires at the end of the month, is still unclear."
Aberdeen also confirmed that they have parted company with U20 coach Neil Cooper.
The statement read: "Aberdonian Neil has spent three spells with the Dons, serving both as a player and a coach over a number of years.
"Everyone at the club wishes Neil all the very best for the future."
