Livi admit interest in McAllister

LIVINGSTON boss Jim Leishman has confirmed that Aberdeen defender James McAllister could be a summer recruit for the West Lothian outfit.

Leishman also admitted he is keeping a close eye on Partick Thistle striker Alex Burns, but stressed that they are just two of many options.

Livi are determined to improve on this term`s disappointing showing, and Leishman will assess all available options in the summer.

He said: "Players that we are interested in have got to be better than what we have got, or those that are being released.

"They must also meet our financial criteria and we are on a really, really tight budget.

"We know that Alex Burns and Jamie McAllister are available, but there will be lots of players in a similar position."
