FC Groningen claim to have rejected offers from two foreign sides for striker Tim Matavz.
The 22-year-old Slovenian has been heavily linked with a move away from the Eredivisie club during this month's transfer window, with Scottish Premier League giants Rangers thought to be interested in his services.
Matavz, who arrived at Groningen in 2007 from native club Gorica, is also understood to have attracted attention from Serie A club Napoli.
Groningen, currently fourth in the league table, say they have spurned two separate bids for the hitman from overseas clubs.
Matavz has played a crucial role for the high-flying side this season, notching 11 goals in 20 league encounters.
