SPL round-up

Hamed Namouchi's last-gasp goal earned Rangers a 1-1 draw at Dundee United.

Substitute Hamed Namouchi's last-gasp goal earned Rangers a 1-1 draw at Dundee United.

Namouchi climbed off the bench to earn Rangers a point with a 90th minute equaliser.

Dundee United got off to a flying start with David McCracken heading home from a Derek McInnes cross after just ten minutes.

Both sides had goals disallowed in the first half with Jim McIntyre and Shota Arveladze the unlucky pair to have their strikes ruled out.

Rangers threw everything into attack in a bid to get back into the game, but United keeper Tony Bullock kept them at bay.

The visitors grabbed an equaliser in the dying moments when Namouchi scrambled home inside the six-yard box after Stefan Klos had caused mayhem in the home defence when coming from his goal for a corner.

The point lifts Rangers above Celtic at the top of table on goal difference, but Martin O'Neill's men can reclaim top spot with victory over Livingston on Sunday.

Dundee slumped to the bottom of the table after losing 3-1 at Dunfermline thanks to a brilliant hat-trick from Andy Tod.

Tod fired Dunfermline in front on 13 minutes and added a second 15 minutes later.

Neil Barrett pulled a goal back for Dundee five minutes before the break, but Tod wrapped up the win for Dunfermline with his third on 54 minutes.
