Bhoys miss out on N'Daw

Sochaux plan to keep Celtic target Guiranne N'Daw after signing Stephane Dalmat.

Sochaux plan to keep hold of Celtic target Guiranne N'Daw after completing the signing of Stephane Dalmat.

Reports in France claim the Scottish champions have offered ‚é¼3million (£2million) for defensive midfielder N'Daw.

The bid was swiftly rejected and Sochaux chairman Jean-Claude Plessis has confirmed the Senegal international is not for sale.

"He is untransferable," Plessis told L'Equipe. "We will even prolong his contract soon."

Meanwhile, Sochaux have tied up the signing of midfielder Stephane Dalmat on a two-year contract.

Dalmat said: "I am happy to sign with FC Sochaux Montbelliard because I really felt a desire to have me in the club.

"I come here to find stability. Changing clubs every year, going on holidays in May without knowing my next destination, doesn't suit me."

Sochaux have received a further boost after No.1 goalkeeper Teddy Richert signed a one-year extension to his contract to keep him at Stade Bonal until 2011.
