Skacel is set to leave Marseille as he is well down the pecking order at Stade Velodrome.
The 25-year-old spent last season on loan at Panathinaikos and Marseille are willing to loan him out again.
Celtic have been mentioned as possible suitors of Skacel and the player's agent Pavel Zika admitted the Czech Republic international is set to link up with his mystery club later this week.
"Rudolf will start training in one of these clubs at the end of the week at 99 percent certain," said Zika.
"But it is too early to reveal the specific names."
