Inverness begin the new Premiership season with a home match against Motherwell on Saturday, August 1.

Manager John Hughes will be keen to build on the greatest season in the club's short history, a campaign which saw them claim a top-three finish and a Scottish Cup final victory over Falkirk at Hampden last month.

A trip to St Johnstone follows before Partick Thistle travel to the Caledonian Stadium in the third of six matches during a hectic opening month.

Following a mini-break for the European Qualifiers, Inverness entertain newly-promoted Hearts before ending September with another home match, against Derek McInnes' resurgent Aberdeen.

October kicks off with the first Highlands derby of the season against Ross County in Dingwall while Caley fans have been spared lengthy travels over the Christmas period with Dundee United and Aberdeen providing the opposition.

Ross County make the short distance to Inverness for the first match of the new year and a trip to Tannadice to face Dundee United on April 9 brings the curtain down on the pre-split campaign.
