Ronny Deila is delighted with the progress Celtic have made in the last 10 months.

Celtic will celebrate their fourth successive Scottish Premiership title on Sunday after their clash with Inverness at Parkhead.

After a difficult start to the season, Celtic recovered their form and Deila is confident they will improve further next season.

There is also a series of Champions League qualifiers - beginning in mid-July - to prepare for but first Deila's team will have a holiday.

“You can see the team is going the right way all the time," he said. "That gives me a good feeling. To see the team is growing, individually and as a unit, that's the best feeling I can get.

"Also now that we are sitting in a good foundation for what's coming up in front of us that people are interested and excited about what's happening.

"One, we have achieved our goal of winning the league; two, we are going to celebrate that with our fans and I know it's a special day at Celtic Park; and three, we have a holiday afterwards."

Deila also dismissed claims that out-of-favour striker Anthony Stokes would be sold amid reported interest from both Leeds and Colorado Rapids.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila expressed his intent to keep hold of 'talented' in demand striker Anthony Stokes who he believes has a big future with the club.

"That's not true. We want to keep players and build up with new players. Stokesy has played a lot this season. He hasn't played so much lately for different reasons but he is a talented boy and we speak a lot together.

"He is the same as everyone else, if they show improvement and the desire to get better and perform, then they have a big future at the club. He is the same as everyone else and right now he is a player we want to keep."
