Sky Sports understands a host of Championship clubs are chasing Inverness hot-shot Billy McKay.
The prolific striker has carried on where he left off last season by scoring 13 goals this season after netting 27 times in all competitions last term.
McKay is currently top scorer in the Scottish Premiership and he bagged another two goals in the Scottish Cup win over Morton at the weekend.
The 24-year-old forward has established himself as a key figure for Inverness since arriving from Northampton Town in the summer of 2011.
McKay, who started his career at Leicester City, has 18 months to run on his current deal and Inverness are braced for bids coming in when the transfer window reopens next month.
The likes of Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday are thought to be tracking McKay as they search for a proven striker to bolster their attacking options in the New Year.
Inverness would be reluctant to lose McKay, but they would find it hard to turn down a sizeable offer for the Northern Ireland international if his suitors firm up their interest.
