Goalkeeper says he has learned from loan spell

Hibernian goalkeeper Calum Antell has set his sights on playing regularly after putting pen to paper on a new one-year contract at Easter Road. The 20-year-old has yet to make his competitive first-team debut for Hibs but enjoyed a successful loan spell with East Stirling, making more than 50 appearances. He feels he is now a much better player and is looking to make a positive impression during pre-season. "I felt I learned a massive amount during my time at East Stirling," he told the club's official website. "Now I'm aiming to play as much as I can for Hibs and hopefully I will get some game-time during pre-season." Antell was an unused substitute in Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Belgian side Lierse SK after coming off the bench for half an hour in last weekend's friendly with East Fife. Ben Williams is expected to be Pat Fenlon's No.1 this season.
