Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov admits he is looking for £50m to sell the Tynecastle club. The Lithuanian announced last month he was keen to offload the SPL outfit who are reportedly £35m in debt. Romanov, who took over the reins at Hearts in the spring of 2005, is ending all connection with football to concentrate on other business interests which are believed to include theatre investment. Speaking to Russian news agency RIA Novosti, Romanov said he had invested 'about £200m in the club' but admits he is highly unlikely to get anywhere near that figure. "The land is worth £25m, plus the players. The club with a project are also worth £25m and that's about £50m," he said. "It's not the money I spent, but that's what it is worth." Romanov, who is reportedly looking to offload top Lithuanian side FC Kaunas and basketball team Zalgiris, added that he rarely keeps up to date with what's happening on the pitch at Tynecastle. "I don't even travel and I don't know when they last played," he said. "Whether it was yesterday or Saturday, and I don't know how they played."
