Stimson keen for full-back to stay at Underhill

Barnet defender Kenny Gillet has been offered a contract to stay at Underhill by new manager Mark Stimson. Gillet's current deal expires at the end of the month and he was originally on the list of players to be released prior to the appointment of Ian Hendon's replacement as manager. However, Stimson is keen for the 24-year-old to be part of his plans next season and is waiting on a response from the left-back. "I am waiting to hear back from him," said Stimson. "I'd like him to stay, he could be a big part of our plans." Stimson has been busy strengthening his squad this week and added Ricky Holmes, Glen Southam and Glenn Poole to his ranks for next season.
