Nacho Novo has admitted it would be very difficult to leave Rangers should his stay end this summer.
The experienced Spanish striker is out of contract in the summer and it remains to be seen whether he will stay on.
There have been reports Rangers have handed out fresh terms, although the 31-year-old has put contract talks on hold.
The ex-Dundee striker is focusing all his attention on helping secure the title and does not want any distractions.
Very hard
"If I do have to go it will be very hard because the club is like my family," he told the club's official website.
"I have made so many friends both inside and outside the club and they have the best fans in the world.
"If you leave you miss coming to Murray Park and seeing the stadium full of fans. That would be the biggest miss for me.
"We are so close and I told my agent I only want to think about trying to win this championship."
