Former Newcastle man to join for the rest of the season

Kilmarnock have moved to snap up Paul Dalglish's services until the end of the season. The former Newcastle, Norwich and Hibernian forward is a free agent having left Houston Dynamo last month. Dalglish, son of former Liverpool legend Kenny, has had a well travelled career but never quite fulfilled his potential. Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies is confident though that Dalglish's signing could prove to be an astute piece of business on his part. "With Colin Nish leaving, he is what we need and we will have a look at him until the summer," he told the Daily Mail.
