Zurawski wanted in USA, while Guzan ready to start training

Celtic striker Maciej Zurawski is wanted by Columbus Crew, while American goalkeeper Brad Guzan is ready to start his trial with the SPL champions. Polish striker Zurawski has started just one SPL match this season and could be on his way out of Celtic before the transfer window closes. With Zurawski fearing for his Euro 2008 prospects, Major League Soccer club Columbus have confirmed their interest in signing the 31-year-old. Compatriot Robert Warzycha, who is assistant manager with Columbus, told the Daily Express: "Our offer is concrete.

Very interested

"Zurawski is very interested in joining us because he wants to play in Euro 2008. "His agent Mark Donaghy is now negotiating with Celtic over the transfer fee. We believe it will be between 200,000 and 300,000 euros (£150,000-£225,000)." Meanwhile, Chivas USA keeper Guzan is 'excited' by the chance to earn a move to Celtic as he prepares to start a week's training with Gordon Strachan's side. Guzan told the Daily Record: "It's always exciting when a club such as Celtic are in for you. "I know all about them, they are a world-renowned team with a great history."
