Experienced defender Maurice Ross would prefer to move abroad if he leaves Aberdeen this month.
The 28-year-old former Rangers defender joined the Dons in October and has gone onto make seven starts for Mark McGhee's side.
But his contract expires on 23rd January and if he does leave Pittodrie, the full-back, who was released by Turkish side Kocaelispor at the end of last season, would prefer to ply his trade abroad once again.
He told the Evening Express: "I prefer playing abroad and I have a couple of options which I am looking at.
"If it is the right move for me then I will take it."
