Lee agrees Macclesfield switch

Macclesfield Town have made Tommy Lee their first signing of the summer.

Macclesfield Town have made goalkeeper Tommy Lee their first signing of the summer.

The 20-year-old joined the Silkmen on loan from Manchester United in January and impressed in his 12 appearances for the club.

After being released by The Red Devils, manager Brian Horton moved quickly to snap up the goalkeeper, offering him a two-year-old deal at Moss Rose.

"I'm pleased to make Tommy my first signing of the close season," Horton told the club's official website.

"When he was with us last season, he gave confidence to our defence and contributed to some good results for us.

"I'm expecting good things from him this season".
