Bury boss Chris Casper has handed trials to five players this week.
The League Two side are running the rule over former Burnley defender Duane Courtney, who was recently released by The Clarets.
Former Stockport County midfielder Mickael Wolski has also arrived at Gigg Lane after an unsuccessful trial at League Two rivals Chester City.
Former Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient and Exeter City midfielder Wayne Carlisle is also looking to earn a contract with Casper's side, as is former Chester defender Scott McNiven.
Former Walsall winger Daryl Taylor is also on trial with The Shakers, despite signing a month-to-month contract with League One club Bournemouth back in June.
All five players appeared in Bury's reserves on Wednesday afternoon.
