Barnet utility man Louie Soares has been handed a contract extension.

Barnet utility man Louie Soares has been handed a contract extension.

The 20-year-old has made 14 appearances for The Bees since joining them from Reading in a deal which initially expired on January 5.

But Barnet boss Paul Fairclough has been hugely impressed with the pacey young forward and has snapped him up for the remainder of the season.

Soares began his career at Reading, where he played as a right back, before featuring up front during a loan spell with Bristol Rovers and on the wing while with Tamworth.
