Notts County have told Tony Scully and Matthew Williams that they are free to leave the club.22-year-old Williams, a striker signed from Manchester United in March, has fallen out of favour under Gudjon Thordarson.
Winger Scully, 29, impressed last season - but again he is not expected to feature under Thordarson.
"We are in a situation where Tony and Matthew are not fitting into my plans at this moment in time," Thordarson told the club's website.
"So, if the pair can find themselves another club I am prepared to let them go so they can play regular football, which is what any footballer wants to do.
"We will see what develops but both are not available for transfer, and other clubs have been informed of this."
