Skysports.com understands Crawley are set to sign Oxford striker Jon-Paul Pittman on loan.
Pittman only joined Oxford in the summer after leaving Wycombe at the end of last season.
Pittman has made only one start for the Us since his arrival at the Kassam Stadium with the striker making five other appearances from the bench.
Crawley have now moved to bring the speedy forward to Broadfield on an emergency 93-day loan.
Red Devils boss Steve Evans has been looking to bolster his attacking options after allowing Wes Thomas to depart for Bournemouth and Pittman will help fill the void.
Pittman, who started his career at Nottingham Forest, had a spell at Crawley prior to his move to Wycombe in 2009.
