Midfielder hailed as big piece of jigsaw by Peterborough chairman

Peterborough United have announced the signing of Michael Bostwick from Stevenage for an undisclosed fee. The 24-year-old has flown out with the squad to their pre-season training camp in Portugal, meeting his new team-mates in the departure lounge. Bostwick was a key component of the Stevenage midfield and helped the club to back-to-back promotions into League One. But there had been speculation a move was imminent and Stevenage chairman Phil Wallace had also revealed the club understood the player's desire to play Championship football. Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony described Bostwick's capture as a 'big piece of the jigsaw' on Twitter. "The gaffer's number one target for the summer has been landed," he tweeted. "That's over £1.5m in transfer fees for six summer recruits thus far to enhance and strengthen our squad. Excited!"
