Hull boss says big squad will allow him to keep the team fresh

Nick Barmby says the entire Hull City squad will be crucial in the coming weeks as they look to maintain their push for a play-off spot. The Tigers will play nine games in 29 days in March and Barmby knows he will have to keep his side fresh if they want to continue their current run of five games without defeat. The Hull boss has rotated his wingers in the last two games with Robbie Brady, Cameron Stewart and Aaron McLean all playing a part, whilst players such as Tom Cairney and Joshua King turned out for the reserves in midweek, highlighting the club's strength in depth. Barmby told the club's official website: "With the amount of games we've got coming up we will start to rotate the players a little bit. "We're asking the lads to work an awful lot, which they're more than capable of, but there will be a little bit of rotation at times. "We've got to be a little bit cute with our selection, but like on Tuesday night, whoever came in did well and whoever came on as a substitute did well and we're delighted with that."
