MK Dons considering latest offer for striker

Skysports.com understands Peterborough United have made a fresh bid in excess of £1million for MK Dons striker Sam Baldock. Posh have already seen one offer for Baldock rejected this month and MK Dons have stressed they do not want to sell the forward. However, Peterborough have returned with an improved bid for the 22-year-old and it is understood MK Dons are considering the offer. Baldock scored 14 goals for Karl Robinson's side last season and has been identified by Posh as a replacement for Craig Mackail-Smith. Scotland international Mackail-Smith is expected to leave London Road over the summer and has already rejected moves to Norwich City and Queens Park Rangers. Leicester City have had a bid accepted for the prolific front-man and Championship rivals West Ham United are also interested in the player.
