Second Leeds defender leaves on loan

Alan Sheehan is the second Leeds United player to leave on loan on Thursday after joining Swindon Town. The former Leicester City defender, who had a spell with Oldham earlier this season, joins the Robins until 4th January. The Irishman spent two months at Boundary Park making eight League One starts, scoring once. Sheehan will link up with two former Leeds players in Jonathan Douglas and David Lucas at the County Ground. The 23-year-old is the second player to leave Leeds on loan transfer day after Andrew Milne joined League Two strugglers Darlington.
