Keeper holds no grudges after being released by Vale

Lincoln City have finalised the signing of goalkeeper Joe Anyon on a two-year contract from League Two rivals Port Vale. Anyon was not offered a new deal by Vale as the club were unable to match the wages he had been earning and he has accepted move to Sincil Bank. The 23-year-old, who missed a large spell of the season due to a broken leg, is likely to replace Rob Burch as Lincoln's No.1 next term. The keeper also insists that he holds no grudges against Vale boss Micky Adams after he was not offered a new contract. "The manager said he can't afford my wages for another year," Anyon told The Sentinel earlier this week. "I get on well with Micky, I know where he's coming from and I know that he has to build a squad for next season." Meanwhile, Lincoln have confirmed that striker Lenell John-Lewis' contract has been terminated by mutual consent.
