Shrewsbury have signed Aberdeen goalkeeper Ryan Esson.
The League Two outfit have beaten off interest from Dunfermline to sign the former Scotland Under-21 international.
Esson has signed a two-year deal at Gay Meadow after seeing out his contract at Pittodrie.
Shrews boss Gary Peters is a big fan of Esson and believes it is a coup to land the custodian.
"Ryan is a quality goalkeeper and will be a great signing for us," Peters told the club's official website.
"Ryan was away on honeymoon and despite interest from the likes of Dunfermline, he's decided to come and join Shrewsbury Town."
