Mick Harford and former Arsenal legend Ian Wright join staff

MK Dons manager Karl Robinson has appointed former Luton manager Mick Harford as his new assistant manager. Robinson also announced that former Arsenal and England striker Ian Wright will join his staff as a part-time first-team coach. Harford, 53, worked for Ipswich Town during the latter part of the season but will now step into the role of number two which was left vacant after the retirement of John Gorman. Wright's appointment was made in order to strengthen the club's core coaching values and add a wealth of experience to Robinson's backroom staff. The 48-year-old, who scored 185 goals in 288 games for the Gunners, retired from playing more than 11 years ago and had previously worked with the club last year. The Dons missed out on reaching the League One play-off final this season after losing to Huddersfield 3-2 on aggregate in the semi-final.
