Reading host Arsenal; Sunderland host North East derby

Quarter-finals places are up for grabs in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday as Arsenal travel to Reading, while there is a big North East derby and Swindon and Leeds will be looking to cause further upsets. Arsenal returned to winning ways at the weekend with a narrow victory over Queens Park Rangers, and Arsene Wenger will now be looking to keep his League Cup hopes alive as he takes his men to the Madejski Stadium. Wenger will ring the changes against a Reading side no doubt relishing the opportunity to escape temporarily from their Premier League struggles, and the match can be seen live on Sky Sports 2HD from 7.30pm. There is a North East derby for fans to look forward to at the Stadium of Light, as Middlesbrough make the trip to Sunderland hoping to avenge an FA Cup exit at the hands of their rivals last season. Swindon produced a superb performance to knock out Stoke in the second round, having previously beaten Brighton, and under-pressure Paul Lambert will be wary of Aston Villa becoming the latest giants to be slain by Paolo Di Canio's team at the County Ground. Leeds also proved they should not be underestimated by top-flight opposition as they sent Everton tumbling at Elland Road, and they will fancy their chances of claiming another scalp at home against a Southampton team languishing in the Premier League relegation zone. Bradford will be aiming to spring a surprise when they visit Wigan, who got their season back on track with a 2-1 win over West Ham on Saturday.
