Alan Navarro is poised to sign a new deal with MK Dons, skysports.com understands.
The 27-year-old's current contract expires in the summer and MK Dons are keen to tie him down to a new deal.
The former Liverpool trainee is in talks with Dons officials over a two-year extension and he is close to agreeing terms.
Navarro has established himself as a key member of the MK Dons side since his arrival from Macclesfield in the summer of 2007 and boss Roberto Di Matteo is keen to keep hold of the powerful midfielder.
