Robins waiting for League approval

SWINDON TOWN have confirmed deals have been done to bring in a clutch of players, subject to Football League approval.

The Robins have to satisfy the league that their finances are in order, before they can start dealing in the transfer market.

Swindon manager Andy King clearly believes the decision will go their way, as he has struck deals with Sammy Igoe, Ade Viveash, Grant Smith, Andrew Nicholas and Jon Stevenson.

The players have all signed contracts and will be officially unveiled as Swindon players when the league give the County Ground outfit the all-clear to sign players again.

Viveash (pictured) has admitted it was a tough choice to leave Reading.

"It was a very tough decision to leave a club of that stature," he told Reading`s website.

"But I still feel I can play more and it was a good opportunity to play first-team football."
