Stopper returns to parent club after loan spell at Swindon

Sam Collins has returned to Hull following a successful one-month loan spell at Swindon Town. The big defender has spent the past month in League One and has impressed Robins boss Paul Sturrock. Collins concedes his future at the KC Stadium remains very much in the air and he admits that he would be interested in returning to Swindon. But before he makes any commitment to Swindon, he is to return to his parent club to discuss his future there.

Back to Hull

"I will go back to Hull and speak to them. I will see if they want me to play some games and we will go from there," said Collins. "I have been out for a long time so I don't know what will happen down the line. "There is a lot of ability and desire among them to go and be right up there come the end of the season. I am sure it will be that way regardless of a little wake-up call on Saturday. "Who knows maybe I can still play a part in that. It would be nice because as I have said I have loved it here."
