Crawley consider move for Barnet striker
Sky Sports understands that Crawley are interested in landing Barnet star Izale McLeod, currently the top scorer in League Two.
The Red Devils have seen their promotion charge tail-off in recent weeks and have won just one game in eight.
Much of Crawley's demise has been put down to the loss of their two leading strikers - Tyrone Barnett, sold to Peterborough and Matt Tubbs, who joined Bournemouth.
Now Town chief Steve Evans is looking at other options and he is ready to make a move for McLeod.
McLeod, who is out of contract at the end of season, has bagged 17 goals in the league for the Bees this season and has been linked to a number of clubs.
But Crawley are now hoping they can sign him on loan with the promise of the deal becoming permanent in the summer.
