Skysports.com understands several clubs are chasing Dagenham & Redbridge forward Gavin Tomlin in the January transfer window.
Tomlin is set to leave the Daggers on a free transfer this month and the news has alerted a number of clubs.
The 28-year-old enjoyed a successful spell on loan at Torquay last season, scoring four goals during his two-month stint at Plainmoor.
Bristol Rovers boss Paul Buckle, who signed Tomlin for Torquay, is believed to be keen on being reunited with the former Brentford man.
League Two hopefuls Gillingham and Southend are also thought to be weighing up moves as they look to add to their attacking options.
