Stockport County defender Danny Swailes has signed a new contract at Edgeley Park.
The 31-year-old began his career at Bury before enjoying spells under Paul Ince at Macclesfield and Milton Keynes Dons.
Swailes was released by the Dons in January 2010 before joining County for the remainder of the campaign.
He has impressed enough during his time with the Hatters to earn an extended stay.
Swailes made 20 league starts for Stockport last season and will now be hoping to help the club seal an immediate League One return.
