Dillon considering whether to take on experienced duo

Manager Kevin Dillon has revealed that experienced wingers Glen Little and Scott Murray are training with Aldershot. Little, 34, was still on the books of Portsmouth this time last year before the former Burnley and Reading winger joined Sheffield United, making 16 Championship appearances last season. Murray, 36, began his professional career with Aston Villa and enjoyed successful spells with Bristol City and Reading before spending last season with Yeovil in League One. Aldershot reached last season's League Two play-offs and Dillon believes the pair would prove welcome additions to his young squad. "We have Glen Little and Scott Murray training with us," he said. "To have somebody of that experience is great. It would be good if we could do something there and we shall see in due course."

Summer changes

Dillon has so far seen star midfielder Scott Donnelly leave for Swansea this summer, while Lewis Chalmers and Kirk Hudson have also left the club. But 17-year-old midfielder Jack Randall (Crystal Palace), 35-year-old Jamie Vincent (Walsall), and fellow defender Darren Jones (Hereford) have all arrived at the Recreation Ground. "What I am keen on is to ensure that we have a good balance in the squad," Dillon added. "We have some talented younger players here and they will benefit from that bit of experience from players who have performed at a higher level. "There were times towards the end of last season where we could have benefited in that way."
