Reid delighted to bring in new striker

Hamilton have signed former Brighton striker Leon Knight. Knight arrives on a free transfer until the end of the season after leaving Greek side Thrasivoulos Filis. The 26-year-old impressed in a trial match for Hamilton earlier this week, scoring two goals, and Accies boss Billy Reid is delighted to have the former Chelsea youngster on board. "Leon's a guy with a big pedigree. He's scored goals for every club he's been at," said Reid "He has a reputation of a bit of a bad lad. But he's now 26 and we've given him an opportunity to play at the top level in Scotland. "We're hoping that Leon can settle down. I've got every faith in his ability; that's never been in question. "But it's up to him now to show and prove to everybody that he is a decent striker and can score goals at a high level." Knight is set to straight into the Accies squad for Saturday's game with Aberdeen.
