Defender given chance to prove his worth

Millwall have handed Danny Senda a one-month contract extension as he looks to prove his fitness. The defender has spent the past 16 months on the sidelines after dislocating his knee near the end of the 2007/08 season. Senda has now battled his way back to fitness during pre-season with the Lions. And manager Kenny Jackett has rewarded him with a short-term deal to get involved in some more competitive action and prove his worth. Senda started his career with Wycombe and made over 300 appearances before joining Millwall on a free transfer in August 2006.
