Dagenham striker Jon Nurse has ended doubts about his future by signing a new one-year contract.

Versatile striker agrees new 12-month deal

Dagenham & Redbridge striker Jon Nurse has ended doubts about his future by signing a new one-year contract. Nurse had been locked in talks with the League Two club over an extension after spending the last two seasons with John Still's side. He has scored six goals in 74 appearances since his arrival from Stevenage Borough and is a valued member of Still's squad. The 28-year-old proved his versatility last term after playing at right-back and in midfield, in addition to his preferred role up front. His decision to stay with Dagenham will be a big boost to Still, who has seen several members of his squad move on during the summer.
