Defender Paul Boertien has extended his contract with Walsall until the end of the season.
The former Derby player signed a new six-month deal at the Banks's Stadium in the summer after his initial one-year contract expired and has now seen his stay extended until June.
Saddlers boss Chris Hutchings is more than happy to have retained the 30-year-old's services for the rest of the League One campaign.
Hutchings told the club's official website: "Paul is a very experienced player.
"We are delighted to have secured his services until the end of the season.
"I am sure he will play an important role at this football club throughout the remainder of the campaign."
