Frenchman extends stay until 2011

Charlton defender Kelly Youga has signed a new three-year contract. The 22-year-old French full-back, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Scunthorpe before breaking into the Addicks first team, has committed himself to the Charlton until 2011. Addicks boss Alan Pardew was delighted to keep Youga and has tipped him for a big future. "Kelly is one of our up and coming young players and I have high hopes for him next season," Pardew told the club's official website. "He gained good experience this season so we are pleased to secure him for the next three years. Hopefully he can continue to develop."
