Accrington move up to ninth

Accrington secured the three points in a thrilling 3-2 win over Macclesfield at the Fraser Eagle Stadium. The home side appeared to have earned the win when former Aldershot player Roscoe D'Sane (51) and Paul Mullin (54) hit the back of the net. However, Macclesfield then fired in two goals in the space of two minutes when a Kevin McIntyre penalty on 71 minutes was followed by a Gary Evans header. Macclesfield, though, then went to sleep at the back and D'Sane - who impressed throughout the encounter - pounced on a defensive mix up to strike a 74th minute winner. Both sides served up an entertaining finish as they went in search of further goals, but Accrington hung on for the win and move up to ninth.
